I have been contacted by some members alerting me that spot checks are being conducted by some local government Department of Health council officers on businesses, inspecting their COVID Safe Plans. It is my understanding that it is a requirement for a printed copy of the plan needs to be available.
In 2020 the SSAA collaborated with our OH&S partners, Action OHS Consulting, and published a self-storage-specific COVID Safe Plan template. If you have not already done so, please visit the SSAA member portal and download and complete the document today.

The use of QR Codes for contact tracing is now mandatory in several states and territories.
If you have not adopted the practice into your business for your staff and customers, I recommend that you do so as soon as possible.
